What is IIT JEE?

  • For engineering aspirants, IIT JEE is the entrance exam for getting admission in top engineering colleges. There are several reasons why IIT JEE is the hardest test in the world. Every year, lakhs of students apply for this exam and under 1% reach their destination.
  • Preparing to score well in JEE can be extremely frustrating and stressful. It takes many sleepless nights to achieve your target score. If you stray even a little, you might fail. Even if you are prepared well, the questions that come in the exam can be pretty difficult and hard to solve. JEE tests your logical thinking and application of the knowledge received. In boards, ratifying NCERT pretty much did the job, but JEE is big boy’s league. Many students give up simply because they can’t take the pressure anymore.
  • The JEE examination was first established in 2002 and was renamed in April of 2017. This national level exam is used to get admission to several undergraduate Engineering and Architecture programmes. Students who pass the JEE Main tests are eligible for admission to National Institutes of Technology (NITs) and Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) (IIITs). JEE-Main was conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education till 2018. (CBSE). It was held both on paper and online, but beginning in 2019, it is administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

  • Children come to us as mere students and leave us as engineers. They say if coaching is a tree, then teachers are its branches and students, its leaves. This is the level of connection that we are able to form between our teachers and students.
  • VidyaHub is not just a centre for studying, it’s a hub to become a big family. Because VidyaHub is the best institute there is, we see students make silly mistakes on a daily basis. Our teachers, observe these mistakes, and help make plans to prevent them.

If you are preparing for the upcoming IIT JEE, you need to know about these mistakes and try your best to not make them. There is a reason why lakhs of students give this exam and only few thousands are able to crack it. Learning and improving from your mistakes can be the difference between your failure and success.

WHAT COMES AFTER CLEARING JEE ADVANCED?

JEE Advanced 2023 is coming closer day by day. If you need motivation or tips & tricks to clear JEE advanced, you need to check out our other blog via IIT-JEE Archives - (vidyahub.net). Anyways, still being unclear about which field you want to become engineer in is perfectly ok. Hey! you might be more focused on studying rather than choosing a career. Just Kidding. If you are still unclear about which career you want to choose after clearing JEE advanced, then you are in the right place. Here is a post-mortem of the careers and courses available after clearing THE exam:

  • TEACHING: If you think that you have the skills to make people understand whatever you are saying, then you might become a great teacher in the future. And don’t think that teachers are not “cool”. Selflessly guiding others to success can be the greatest feeling in the world.
  • ENGINEERING OPTIONS: There are a lot of options available under the category of engineering related courses. You just have to explore your interests. If you are good in computers, you can become a Computer Engineer, if you like buildings and stuff you can become a Civil Engineer, If you like cars or machines, you can become a Mechanical Engineer. Some other engineering options are – Electrical, Chemical, Aerospace, Nuclear, Robotics, etc.
  • MASTER OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (MBA): After completing your bachelors in engineering, a lot of people take the step of completing MBA. According to me, Engineering and Business is the perfect combination. If you have an idea to build something like a machine or a software, MBA can provide you with the skills to sell it to the public. But that is thinking way ahead in the future and keep in mind that doing MBA from a private institution can make a huge hole in your pocket.
  • GIVING JEE MAINS AGAIN: Many students are not satisfied with the results they achieve and hence, are not able to get a good college to boost their career. Giving JEE Mains again is an option but it is not recommended because you’ll be going through all the hustle-bustle again. So, only take this step if you are a 100% sure about improving your performance.

These are some of the handpicked options you can choose from after clearing your JEE Advanced. There are other options available too, such as – becoming a data analyst, research & development engineer or giving IES (Indian Engineering Services) exam for a government job, etc. but they couldn’t top the list.
